German Melanoiden and Munich malts blend with Willamette hops to create this incredibly refreshing and completely satisfying lager. Bright, refreshing and skillfully balanced — an all purpose après activity brew.

Gravity 1020 Menu Pairings

Pair with our Margherita Spent Grain Flatbread, Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup and Jerk Pork Loin

Recipe: 1900 Gouda Grits

24 oz Grits or 1 box instant grits
1/2 Yellow Onion Minced
2 quarts vegetable broth (or chicken stock)
16oz 1900 Amber Lager
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup shredded smoked gouda or other cheese of choice
Combine onion and stock/broth and bring to a simmer. Slowly add grits while whisking rapidly. Reduce heat, cover and allow to simmer for 12 to 15 minutes. Whisk in heavy cream and beer. Whisk in cheese and remove from heat. Serve immediately, or if serving at a later time, let cool in open container. Reheat with a small amount of stock.
