How does a guy with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Trumpet Performance land in sales? While Michael has very much a musical background, his love of home brewing and beer books are a few things that made him a prime candidate to represent the FCB brand. Michael visits accounts throughout northern Colorado to educate them about current and upcoming FCB projects.

Can you name the beer or moment that made you fall in love with craft?

The first time I had Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout, it changed my perspective on the spectrum of beers available. I was already aware of basic styles like ambers, browns, and IPAs, but to find the new world of dark and BIG beers, well that changed things! That’s one reason why my nickname is Gravity Guru.

You are about to be cast off to a remote island and you can only bring three brews. Who makes the cut?
